CosaTron is still working and we are here to help. Many have asked if CosaTron has tested if we can kill the COVID-19 Virus. CosaTron has not tested specifically for the virus as it is still being researched every day with new information being discovered. CosaTron’s technology speeds conglomeration and allows contaminants in the space to be removed by the controlled air stream. CosaTron’s technology has not changed, and it is well suited to assist the mechanical systems with contaminant removal. The COVID-19 virus is 0.12 microns in size and is not affected by the controlled air stream, and therefore will not mechanically make it to the filters on its own. Some of the virus will make it into the mechanical systems via the inherent electrical fields and forces as evidence has shown the virus found in mechanical systems and ductwork. ULPA HEPA filters can remove particles in the 0.12 micron range, if the contaminants make it to the filter
CosaTron recommends using our systems to grow the particle size and then treating the filter changing appropriately. CosaTron would also recommend irritating the filters with UV light to kill any biological growth that they may contain.

COVID-19 is Airborne
All, as you speak with potential clients please make sure they understand that the COVID-19 virus is airborne. Initial discussions focused on the virus’s ability to live on surfaces and the need to disinfect them. The virus does live on surfaces however based on several findings is also transported in the air stream. Obviously, sneezing and coughing spread the virus and is why masks are being recommended for use. The fact of the matter is, masks capture particulate similar to filters, but components smaller than the filtering ability of the masks/filters still get through.
